St.Kuriakose Elias Chavara
St.Kuriakose Elias Chavara is the founder of CMI Congregation. Kuriakose (Cyriac) Chavara was born in 1805, of pious and devout parents belonging to the Syro- Malabar Church, in Kainakary, Kerala, India. He was a great visionary and educationist.
Saint Kuriakose spent the last seven years of his life at Koonammavu, Kerala, where he died on 3 January 1871 and was buried in Saint Philomena’s Church, Koonammavu. Saint Kuriakose Elias was well known for his sacrificial life and continues to be a model of Christian virtue and a solace for many in their trials and tribulations. On 23 November 2014, at Vatican, Pope Francis declared him as a Saint of the universal Church. The CMI Congregation has been involved in providing quality education all over India to children and the youth in order to make them the promising citizens of tomorrow.

The extra and co-curricular activities, proportionately incorporated in to the curriculum, help the students to achieve holistic growth of character and personality.

Jeevass CMI Kindergarten was established by the senior members of St. Antony’s Monastery in 2006, with a new dimension to give quality education.
The Jeevass CMI Kindergarten was launched in June 2006 with Fr. John Berchmans, Manager, Fr. John pynadath as the first Director and Fr. Antony madavanakadu as the asst: Director. Mrs. Rita thettayil was appointed the first Headmistress.
